Introduction to Game Development
Game development is an exciting field of Computer Science with opportunities for various skills. Unity, an amazing game engine, has been used to create games like Fall Guys, Cities Skylines, and Beat Saber.
In this four-part series, I’ll teach you how to use C# with Unity to create your own game. Once you delve into programming with C# and Unity, you’ll be amazed by the power of programming languages and its importance in the ever-growing technology field.
Building a Custom PC
Building a computer might seem intimidating, but with thorough research and understanding of computer components, you can conquer the task! I recently built my own custom PC specifically for VR and PC game development, and it was a great experience.
In this PC building series, I’ll explain how computers work, what to consider when selecting PC parts, and how to assemble your PC.
Designing 3D Prints in Tinkercad
If you own a 3D printer and are looking for an easy way to design 3D prints, Tinkercad is a free website that lets you create 3D models for various purposes, including 3D printing.
I personally use Tinkercad to design custom models such as Nintendo Switch game cartridge storage cubes and Raspberry Pi cases. While there are other free and paid alternatives to Tinkercad, it’s a great starting point for beginners.
