Posted on November 10, 2020September 13, 2021 by NIAC Collaborators

Our Florida Virtual School teachers are some of the finest in the land, so during the month of November, FLVS students are taking the time to thank them. Here are just a few examples of what students had to say.

Dear Mrs. Kimball,

I appreciate how willing you are to tackle confusing math problems with me and how you always offer help. Thank you!

Sincerely, Anonymous

Dear Mrs. Russell of Language Arts,

Thank you for always encouraging me to pursue writing and showing me that writing is fun and I would not want to be an author without you.

Sincerely, Daniel Albertson Jr. of 10th Grade

Dear Ms. Kingwell of Geometry,

Thank you for helping and encouraging me not to give up!

Sincerely, Anonymous of 10th Grade

Dear Mrs. Cook of Mathematics,

Mrs. Cook encourages her students every week. She has lesson videos to help whenever I need it. She holds live lessons and is always enthusiastic. Thank you!

Dear Dr. Rumancik of AICE International History and AICE Global Perspectives,

Thank you for being such a great teacher and making every class fun!

Sincerely, Anonymous of 10th Grade

Dear Mr. Kessler of Science,

Thank you for being one of the best teachers I ever had and expanding your office hours an extra hour so I could get help if I needed it.

Sincerely, Daniel Albertson Jr. of 10th Grade

Dear Ms. Booz of Language Arts,

Thank you for being such a fun, kind, and helpful teacher. You make DBAs something to look forward to, and you are one of the funniest teachers I’ve ever had. You are always there to help. All of your students, including me, can see how much work you put into making Language Arts a fun and enjoyable experience. Thanks for being such a great teacher! 🙂

Sincerely, Anonymous of 8th Grade

Thank you to all teachers! “See” you in our next issue.

“You were there to guide us
You helped us from where we were
You showed us the way
So we would not get left behind
Like students in a puddle of tar”
– Halyard Twist

“Teaching should be such that what is offered is perceived as a valuable gift and not as a hard duty.” -Albert Einstein

If you would like to thank a teacher, submit your message here.

Guidelines: It does not have to be a teacher you have now. It can be a club sponsor or co-sponsor. You can make multiple entries.
