March 2: Dr. Suess
Dr. Suess, arguably the most accomplished children’s author ever, would be 117 years old if he were still alive today. Even though he is dead today, 6 full-length movies have been made based on his books and several shorts and tv shows, like “How the Grinch stole Christmas,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” and “Horton Hatches The Eggs!” Many kids have been taught to read using Dr. Suess’ books and many continue to be today.
March 5: Gaby Barrett
Popular country singer Gaby Barrett, who is turning 20, has been praised for songs like “I Hope,” “The Good Ones,” “Footprints on The Moon,” and even “Go Tell It on The Mountain” with For KING & COUNTRY. In 2018, she won third place in American Idol. Right after, in 2019, she wrote “I Hope,” which became instantly famous.
March 6: Shaquille O’Neal
Famous for being one of the best basketball players ever, Shaquille was popular on and off the court. One time, he donated $1 million to the Boys and Girls Club of America to help technology across the country. In 2011, when he retired, he became an NBA analyst. He’ll be turning 49 years old this year, ten years since his retirement.
March 9: Bow Wow
Bow Wow, a famous rapper, actor, and broadcaster, started professionally rapping at age 13. Formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow, a name given to him by Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow has been famous for songs such as “Bounce with me,” “Let Me Hold You,” “Like you,” “Bow Wow (that’s my name),” and “Outta My System.” At the age of 13, Bow Wow became the youngest rapper to have a #1 hit in his 2000 release. On March 9th, he is turning 34.
March 10: Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood, one of the most famous country singers ever, is turning 38 on the 10th. With Christmas songs and country songs, she is a spectacular singer. After winning American Idol in 2005, she pursued music, her first song, “Inside your Heaven”, making her the only solo country artist to reach the number one spot on Billboard 100. Today she has 2 kids and a husband, making a happy family.
March 12: Malina Weissman
Best known for her part as Violet in “A Series of Unfortunate Events” (2017-2019) alongside Neil Patrick Harris and as young Kara Zor-El in “Supergirl,” Malina Weissman is turning 18 years old on March 12. She started modeling when she was 8 years old. Today she continues her career in acting and modeling.
March 13: Harry Melling
Harry Melling, probably best known for his role as Dudley in the “Harry Potter” films and his work in “His Dark Materials,” will be turning 32 on March 13th. Married to Lauren Melling, he worked as Sysselman in the new series “His Dark Materials” along with Lin-Manuel Miranda. From snobby cousins to high-ranking officials, Melling is a true actor.
March 14: Albert Einstein
The all-famous Albert Einstein was born on this day 142 years ago. Sadly, he died at only 76 years old but made several (if not all) of the history books. With the most famous theory, E = mc2, and the theory of relativity. In 1921, he received a Nobel peace prize from Warren G. Harding.
March 16: Alexandra Daddario
Alexandra Daddario, who starred in movies like “Baywatch,” “Percy Jackson,” “San Andreas,” and “When We First Met,” will be turning 35 years old on the 16th. Her siblings Matthew and Catharine are also famous, so it’s a trait that runs in the family. Although she is single, that doesn’t limit her acting skills and she has been in some famous movies.
March 18: Queen Latifah
Recently starring in “The Equalizer,” Queen Latifah will be turning 51 years old. Starring in “The Little Mermaid Live,” “Hairspray,” “Joyful noise,” “Miracles from Heaven,” and “Steel Magnolias,” she is very popular for many different things, not just acting. In 1993, her single, U.N.I.T.Y. inspired women rights all around the country and received a Grammy award. Today, she isn’t married but she does have many movies, songs, and raps to come!
March 20: David Thewlis
Known for working in the “Harry Potter” movies, “Wonder Woman,” the upcoming “Avatar 3,” and many more, David Thewlis is going to turn 58 years old. Working as Remus Lupin, Sir Patrick, and a Na’vi, he’s been an important part of many movies. He started acting in the 1980s and has been working in films ever since, with hopeful speculation of many more films from him.
March 21: Gary Oldman
Turning 63, Gary Oldman has played in many amazing movies. From the “Harry Potter” films to “Red Riding Hood” to the “Batman” movies. He’s regarded as one of the best actors of his generation, his career starting in 1982 when he starred in “Remembrance.” Since then, he has been in nearly 25 films and has grown to huge acting levels.
March 22: JJ Watt
Famous NFL player JJ Watt will be turning 32 on the 22nd. Since 2011, he played as a defensive end for the Houston Texans. News was received about 2 weeks ago that he was being traded and could be picked up by other teams. Currently, JJ is married to Kealia Ohai and has no kids. Watt started the Justin J. Watt foundation, which gives after-school opportunities to kids in different communities. He could be called one of the most influential players of his generation.
March 24: Peyton Manning
Nation-wide famous Peyton Manning is turning 45 years old. Possibly one of the most well-known football players ever, Peyton has been famous on and off the field, for he founded the Peyton foundation which created programs to assist children at risk. Although he retired a couple of years ago, he is still in action. About 9 months ago, he played golf to help raise money for charities. His wife Ashley helped create the Peyton foundation with him and he now has 2 kids.
March 25: Elton John
Famous for his music, Elton John will be turning 74 years old on this day. With music both sung and written, Elton John has created a grand amount of music for some of the most famous films such as “The Lion King,” “Pocahontas,” and “Aladdin.” He’s famous around the world for his music scores, albums, and songs.
March 26: Jonathan Groff
Jonathan Groff has starred in “Frozen,” “Hamilton,” “Glee,” “The Simpsons,” and “Mindhunter.” While most likely famous for his performances in Hamilton and Frozen, he can sing, act and perform nearly anywhere. On March 26th, he’ll be turning 36 years old.
March 27: Mariah Carey
Amazing singer Mariah Carey will be turning 51 years old. With one of the most famous Christmas albums, she is widely known across the world. She is currently married and has two kids. Although she hasn’t been in many movies, she has starred in “Empire,” “The LEGO Batman movie,” and “The Star.”
March 28: Lady Gaga
World-famous Lady Gaga is turning 35 years old. She’s known for her songs like “Applause,” “The Edge of Glory,” “Poker face,” “Just Dance,” “Born This Way,” and “Sour Candy.” She has performed in Super Bowls and many other places, alongside starring in several movies such as “A Star Is Born,” “The Simpsons,” “Men in Black,” and “Muppets Most Wanted.”
March 30: NF
Widely known Christian rapper NF is turning 30 years old. Known for songs such as “The Search,” “Mansion,” “Therapy session,” “Till’ the day I die,” and “real,” NF is a talented rapper in the music industry. He’s had two #1 debuts in Billboard 200, which were his songs The Search and Perception. His songs have been played on “ESPN,” “VH1,” “Empire,” “Chicago P.D.” and many more.
March 31: Ewan McGregor
Actor Ewan McGregor will be turning 50 at the end of this month. First playing in the “Star Wars” movies, he then went on to act in movies like “Angels and Demons,” “Beauty and the Beast” (2017), “Moulin Rouge,” “Christopher Robin,” and “Birds of Prey.”
