FLVS Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month Beginning September 21st, FLVS students and staff will celebrate the diversity of our school and our nation as we explore various topics of Hispanic Heritage. Hosted by FLVS Spanish teachers, the celebration will present guest speakers, such as authors, Julia Alvarez, Ana Veciana Suarez, Alma Flor Ada, and Marissa de Jesus Pauliseji. Students, parents and staff are invited to participate in a book discussion, experience Latin dance and exercise, meet Latinos from our communities, and much, much more. Students and teachers from North Caroline Virtual Public School will also join us in the festivities.
