On September 30, FLVS hosted its first post-presidential debate student discussion. Approximately 40 students logged on to the online Elluminate session for credit and for fun to chat about the first John McCain-Barack Obama debate. The Elluminate tool allows participants to chat in an instant message text box and watch a whiteboard slideshow, as FLVS moderators talk via a microphone. How did they stand up to the Presidential debates? Critics questioned her experience, while supporters praised her tough "pitbull with lipstick" attitude.
