Be the Change
As we head into the holiday season, it is a good time to stop and give thanks for the many blessings we have in our lives. It is also an important time to consider those in the world who are less fortunate, and give back to our communities and the world. No matter who you are, young or old, there are ways that you can make a difference. Coming up in December, the Model UN Club will be hosting Human Rights Day and sharing some ways that you can take action and be a positive change agent in your family and your community. In this issue, read how one student is making a difference.

ACT vs. SAT Most high school students cringe at the thought of the ACT and the SAT. Colleges from all over the nation select their students not only through their grade point average and extracurricular activities in high school, but also by viewing the scores achieved by the student.

An Overlooked Advantage All too often you hear from kids about how they wish they were older. For those of you who want to see a change in the world, there is no better time to make that change than while you are still young. |
Stress Stress. This is a word that every teenager on the planet is familiar with, but what we don't know is what stress can do to us. Everyone suffers from forms of stress, adults, teens, and even sometimes young children, but it seems that stress affects teenagers the most. |
