Virtual Information Session

Endings and Beginnings

Summer is just around the corner, and students are finishing up classes, attending end of the year functions, and getting ready for graduation ceremonies. The end of the school year is much anticipated for the summer vacation ahead full of fun at the beach, trips with families and friends, sleeping until noon, and heading off to summer jobs. But it also marks the end of another year of academic accomplishments, and for some, the end of your high school or middle school years. For students going off to college in the fall, graduation from high school is bittersweet--the end of one of the most thrilling times of your life, but also the beginning of your independence and new adventures and horizons.

Summer is also a great time for many students to take classes while there are fewer activities and responsibilities. It is a time to take that class you couldn't fit into your schedule, to get ahead on courses you hope to add to your transcript, or to make up a credit or improve a grade. Registration for courses at FLVS is now open for summer classes!

Whether you are a new or returning student, you have an opportunity to attend a Virtual Information Session to learn more about FLVS registration, tips from teachers on getting started and staying on pace, how to keep your computer healthy, and what clubs and activities FLVS offers to students. Mark your calendar for June 4th at 7pm to attend the FLVS Virtual Information Session. Look for more information and the Elluminate links on the Student Activities page.
