The Iberian Lynx

The Iberian lynx, also known as the Spanish lynx, is the most critically endangered cat in the world with only about 100 left in the wild. Its name comes from the Greeks, meaning “sharp eyes,” or “bright eyes.” While different species of lynx live in North America, Europe, and Siberia, the Iberian lynx is found only in Spain and Portugal.

Maybe you demand shrimp with marinara sauce on your birthday, or maybe it’s as simple as turkey and mayo on a sandwich.
